Bannerghatta National Park : A place not for animal lovers.

Bannerghatta National Park, located at Bangalore outskirts is considered as a major attraction of Bangalore city.
But if you are a true animal lover, then its better you shouldn’t visit Bannerghatta National Park (BNP).
The Park consists of two areas, one is the national park and the other is zoo. But you won’t find any difference between both of them, because in the park also the animal are kept in different area enclosed with big gates and electric fences, Basically the park is a zoo with a bigger cage.

The park authority charges Rs. 2500 for a jeep safari, but its a waste of money if you a real wildlife lover and you want to see real wilderness. And I really feel pity for the animals which are kept in this condition for forest department and government profits.

So if you wanna see some real wilderness of India. Do visit some other National Parks(like: Bandhavghar NP, Bandipur NP, Jim Corbett NP, Kaziranga NP, etc) instead of Bannerghatta National Park.

Bannerghatta National Park is basically a biological park.
